Professional acting and/or writing. I've done a little of both (well, a very little of the "professional acting").

I wish my voice is better. I'm on key and have good diction, but I'm not as good a singer as I'd like to be.

1. I'm in many serious relationships but I also figure this question means romantic/marriage/sexual... in which case the answer is no (drat!)
2. First I wanted to be a horse. Then I wanted to own a horse (eventually I did, for several years - lots of work and lots of fun). Then I wanted to marry Paul McCartney. Somewhere in there I wanted to be a rock'n'roll star and pursued that in a remarkably foot-shooting fashion; now I'm grateful I didn't succeed, at least not in my youth!
3. I'm actually pretty rich in talent; what I REALLY want is better character, more discipline - I'd make better use of the talents I have, with better discipline... *sigh*... chocolate, anyone?!
4. 95% of the time it would be a fairly dry, fairly big red wine. Once in awhile I'll have a beer or a margarita or a pina colada, if they don't use the powdered mix...
5. Lightly steamed broccoli, although I'm very fond of fresh sweet corn with butter (it's the Iowa heritage coming out).

12. I was shocked, shocked, I tell you, to learn that I am an optimist. I learned this about 5 years ago and still haven't recovered.
13. That would depend on what *you* were doing. If you were panicking, I'd help you calm down. Otherwise, after using the phone to alert the company, I'd suggest we sit down, get comfy and talk. I'd probably start by asking you some fannish questions...

Worse than being robbed (and tied up) at gunpoint when I was 20 years old and worse than seeing a woman commit suicide by jumping from a 5th floor window (ran up, held my umbrella over her as she died--), I would have to say being completely blindsided by my (ex-) husband abandoning me and our marriage in Barcelona, Spain (well, Valencia actually - about a four hour drive from the airport in Barcelona) - being seriously deceived, and with great hostility, that sucked. For years it sucked.

28. Yeah, although I don't know what they are. I certainly believe in non-human, non-physical intelligences and have run into both benign and malevolent. I really don't know if "ghosts" are human soul fragments or human 'place echoes,' as it were, or demonic harassment. Or something else entirely.

Yes.

That I would be a veterinarian, a marine biologist, and a writer. I am a writer.

That I could really sing. This is possible with some sticktoitiveness, so maybe: that I could really dance (I always think this is impossible, even though others have told me not). That I could read minds, sometimes, but usually not. That I could reliably write poetry, not just sometimes and under duress.

Probably a whisky on the rocks, though I also like gin and tonic and Stoli bloody Marys. Depends on my mood.

I'd say hi, introduce you, and try to find out discreetly if you were in any trouble. Because I have had to be firm about 24-hour notice for visitors, where my partner is concerned, I might try to see if we could go for a drive together and chat, so it was out of the house, but I'd show you around and let you meet my pets.

That you looked very sad. Since you were going through some heavy grief at the time that is not surprising.
